Strauß und Fahrkarte auf Entwerteautomat würde das Bild heißen, wenn es eine Installation wäre.
Da es sich aber dabei um kein Kunstobjekt handelt, entzieht sich die Geschichte dahinter jeder Interpretation ohne Kausalbeziehungen. Wer hat den Blumenstrauß gekauft? Für wen? Warum lässt ihn diese Person samt Karte zurück, dass jeder samt Strauß nach Liestal kann?
Das dürfte eine traurige Geschichte sein. Zum Glück weiß ich nichts darüber.

If the picture above showed an installation, the title would be Flowers and Ticket on Stamping Machine.
Since it is not a piece of art though, any attempt to understand must be by means of causation. Who bought the flowers? For whom? Why does this person leave the flowers and a ticket to the neighbouring canton behind?
I believe that the story behind this gesture is a sad one. Fortunately, I don’t know more.
