Wenn wir in Philosophie mehr und mehr über Lebenshilfe und angewandte Ethik publizieren, das hat auch damit zu tun, dass die Altehrwürdigen nicht mehr unter uns sind und nicht viel übrig gelassen haben, was groß theoretisch zu diskutieren wäre.
Tugendhaft starb gestern, Henrich vor drei Monaten.
Ich wurde fündig. Eine alte Skizze fand ich, gemacht von meiner damals jungen Hand während einer von Henrichs letzten Vorlesungen.
Hand? Wohl von meinem damals jungen Gehirn? Oder jungen Augen? Oder sollte ich im Sinne Henrichs von meinem damals jungen Geist sprechen?

This is an old sketch of Dieter Henrich, made by my back then young hand during one of his last lectures as an active professor.
By my hand. And by my back then young brain and eyes. Or should I say – I believe he’d like the expression – by my back then young spirit?
Henrich died three months ago, Tugendhat yesterday.
This obvious change in philosophy, applied ethics and life guides taking the lead in front of vast theory, is also due to the fact that the representatives of vast theory are not among us and there’s not much left to be theorised after them.
